POTATO TIME™

               You’ve played it so many times in a row, that your housemate knocks on the door to check you are okay. You are, you are just organising things. Organising has always been easy for you, but it is even easier when the music is so loud you can’t hear yourself overthink. You can just act on instinct in that way. You are tidying a room so small, most of it is just bed and desk. There is maybe a foot of space between the two, and another foot at the end of the room. You don’t mind though. Perhaps it reminds you of the first bedroom you remember having as a child. The same white walls, although these ones are not covered in sponged teddy bear shapes. You acquiesce to change the song, and prop the door open, to let some of the world back in. It’s the final year, and you have worked out exactly what you need to get on each essay, and on each exam, to get the grade you want. Procrastination plays a heavy part in the success process.
